Consultation description 

We are consulting on reforms that will enable the Office for National Statistics to reclassify RSLs back to the private sector for accounting purposes, including:

  • disposal consents
  • power to direct the permitted use of disposals proceeds
  • restructuring and dissolution
  • regulatory powers
  • local government controls.
